Metering point operation at bayernets
As a metering point operator, we guarantee that the energy injected into and withdrawn from the bayernets grid is measured in compliance with metering and calibration regulations at all times, including the timely and proper transmission of data. bayernets offers the conclusion of agreements for the operation of metering points through third parties in accordance with Section 9 para. 1 of the German Metering Point Operation Act (MsbG).
The Metering Point Operation Act (MsbG) came into effect on 01.09.2016 and replaces the Metering Access Ordinance (MessZV). In accordance with Section 3 in conjunction with Section 5 of the Metering Point Operation Act (MsbG) of 29.08.2016 and corresponding to the decision of BK7-17-026 of the Federal Network Agency, the metering point operation at a metering allocation can be carried out by a third party upon request by the connection user. bayernets offers the conclusion of agreements for the operation of metering points through third parties in accordance with Section 9 Para. 1 of the German Metering Point Operation Act (MsbG).

Should bayernets be commissioned with operating the metering point by the connection user, bayernets provides these services for the connection user in accordance with the German Metering Point Operation Act (MsbG).
In accordance with Section 33 Para. 2 of the German Measuring and Calibration Act (MessEG), the network operator responsible for the metering point operation in the sense of calibration law is the user of measuring values and consequently responsible for compliance with all requirements and obligations based on in calibration law.
