REMIT

Regulation (EU) No 1227/2011 of the European Parliament and of the Council on wholesale energy market integrity and transparency (“REMIT”) is a regulation tailored to the energy sector to prevent insider trading and market abuse. In accordance with Article 4(1) Regulation (EU) No 1227/2011 there is an obligation to publish available inside information. To the best of its knowledge, bayernets publishes available inside information as so-called Urgent Market Messages (UMM).

We herewith disclose the following information in accordance with Article 4(1) Regulation (EU) No 1227/2011:

Marktgebiet: NetConnect Germany

For the summer period (1 April 2019 – 1 October 2019) bayernets will offer all available firm freely-allocable exit capacity (Exit FZK) at storages in competition starting with the monthly auctions for April 2019 (auction start 18.03.2019 09:00).

Currently the following exit capacities are still available:

  • 01.04.2019/06 - 01.07.2019/06: Exit 860.600 kWh/h FZK offered in monthly auctions
  • 01.07.2019/06 - 01.10.2019/06: Exit 1.580.600 kWh/h FZK offered in quarterly auction (auction start 06.05.2019 09:00) and monthly auctions

These capacities will be offered at the storages Haiming 2-7F/bn, Haiming 2-RAGES/bn, Inzenham-West USP, USP Haidach and USP Wolfersberg in competition.

In the subsequent yearly (auction start 01.07.2019 09:00) and quarterly auctions (auction start 05.08.2019 09:00) this procedure will be expanded to Entry FZK and conditional capacity (bFZK*) as well.

*bayernets will offer temperature-related capacity products (TaK) for periods from January 2020 onwards. Currently we assume to offer 1.403 MWh/h Entry/Exit bFZK in competition at all storages. This capacity will be offered for the first time in the yearly auctions on 01 July 2019 (periods from October 2020 onwards) and the quarterly auctions on 05 August 2019 (periods from January 2020 onwards).
